Gorgeous travel rug made in what we believe to be a re-release of some of the original vintage rugs. 1970's Soft woven blanket in large check design of red, magenta and deep wine red.
Wool is medium to light weight, soft and cosy.
Travel rug size 134cm x 164cm.
Tassels top and bottom edges.
The star of this rug is the wonderful Maori Chief Kaiapoi label. There is wonderful detail in this label measuring 60mm x 70mm. The changes from the original historical labels is that this one has Petone Group Textiles added as well as a Woolmark logo.
The label is woven and showing some light wear. Overall in very good condition.
One small patch repair has been added near the fringe.
