Key Feature: Heavyweight double-weave.
A hard to get original Onehunga Car Rug. This is a double weave blanket where the top surface has a plaid design of chocolate brown, kelly green, wine red, highlight of orange on a backdrop of cool tan. The reverse side is deep chocolate brown. Double weave blankets are the equivalent of two blankets woven together at the same time giving extra durability and weight.
Slightly larger than average size at 130cm x 160cm.
Tassels top and bottom edges are in good condition.
Original Onehunga Woollen Mills label featuring a Tiki image. Label is embroidered with rainbow cotton on damask. Please not the label is showing wear. (see photo). Pure New Zealand Wool.
