King pure wool, quality made blankets are hard to get. So I get quite excited when we get one from our Australasian shores. Ok so you all know I'm all about NZ Wool but if we have to share over Pavalova we can share over the occasional merino! :)
These blanket is from long time standing Onkaparinga Australian Wool Mill. As one of Australia's oldest companies a big congrats for recently celebrating their 150th Anniversary.

King size and extra long at 240cm x 250cm
This blanket is a dark coral pink and soft to touch. Australian wool blankets tend to be Merino - either 100% Merino or a high percentage of Merino. Merino sheep are the most farmed breed in Australia. This blanket feels to be about 80% Merino (fine wool) with the remaining a firmer wool. This is a 100% Wool Blanket. Medium to light weight wool thickness which is ideal for year round or a lighter extra layer.
This blanket has an original printed Onkaparinga label starting so show some wear to the imagery.
Pretty coral pink satin trim on the top and bottom edges. The satin has started to show wear so has been straight stitched along the edge for reinforcement.
Excellent light and large blanket with many years of warmth ahead!
