This blanket has duck egg green stripes to the top and bottom ends that is just the perfect shade like an enamel tea pot. The rest of the blanket is plain cream.
Heavy weight thick wool. In true Witney style it is woven with a higher than usual fluffy raising of the wool to the blanket.
Blanket has some very slight distortion to the weave where it comes in a bit tighter along the selvage edge.
Double size 190cm x 230cm
Fresh vintage cream blanket stitching has been added to the top and bottom edges.
Original Witney makers label. 100% wool and made in England.
This blanket is in exceptional condition for its age. A few dot marks here and there. Six tidy patch repairs have been added.
Witney region has a very long history of creating beautiful wool blankets. A useful vintage item with many years of warmth to come.
