This Clan Tartan blanket is a real beauty. The colours are deep dark navy, black, emerald green and details of cream and red. (photo is slightly lighter than actual colours - seems more navy in person.)
Medium thickness wool, soft and fluffy to touch. Wool is even thickness and even all over.

This blanket has an oversize label featuring a main image of a bagpipe player in traditional Scottish formal wear. Monty Rug is a sought after label, this one is unique as it has the Fontana branding added along with a Made in NZ Kiwi and Woolmark logo. This makes this blanket as one of the last Monty rugs made in NZ by Alliance Textiles in Timaru.
Label has some light fading, we had to make it a bit smaller to save it and stitched the Mackenzie name over the top of a label hole.
There are five patch repairs in matching wool.
A very desirable Clan Tartan in gorgeous condition perfect for the car, sofa, fireside, vintage car and of extra special significance to those of Mackenzie family heritage.
