Key feature: Familiar Brand in Bold Red
We have all grown up with the familiar name Hallensteins. Did you know they were formed in 1873?! That's not far off 150years! Somewhere along the ways (looking at this blanket approximately 1950 - 70's ) Hallensteins ventured into the Wool Blanket market. This wonderful blanket was one of their offerings.
In glorious condition this is a compact but heavy weight travel rug. It is deep bold red with striped detail in olive and cream in varying widths.
Slightly smaller than average Travel Rug size at 124 x 136cm.
Original makers label reads: Made expressly for Hallensteins, 100% Pure Wool, Made in New Zealand. This is a printed label starting to show wear with lightening and a small hole to the label.
This blanket would be perfect to cosy up the home office, den, reading nook or comfy chair. Great Granddad, Dad or vintage car enthusiast gift too!
