Gorgeous soft blue check blanket from Auckland mill - Onehunga Woollen Mills.
This blanket is a clear mid blue checked with cream to create two tones of blue pattern. Difficult to photograph this exact blue - I would describe as a cornflower vintage blue.
It is a smooth soft thick weight wool. Single size measuring 144cm x 192cm Fresh white blanket stitching top and bottom edges.
One small heart repair embroidered in blue wool. This blanket has a couple of tiny light marks on close inspection.
This blanket has its original printed makers label. The Baroness, Made by the Onehunga Woollen Mills. 100% Pure Wool, Auckland New Zealand. Baroness labels the old school font placing this blanket at early 1960's.
Super cosy for many more years of warmth!
