From the Union Steamship Company this is a vintage pure wool grey army blanket. Lighter grey in colour.
It is medium weight, even thickness and weave throughout.
Single size 156 x 204cm.
No makers label but we can confirm this blanket is 100% New Zealand wool and made in New Zealand.
A Fresh Retro Love, Restore to Relove label has been attached to one corner.
Fresh red blanket stitching in strong cotton top and bottom edges.
Four patch repairs
This blanket has the traditional red stripe down the centre of the blanket and has large wonderful red embroidered USSC identifying letters through the middle
Ideal for a long term Scout/camping blanket, wondeful for the vintage ferry and ship lovers. Rare blanket part of our New Zealand History.
