This blanket is made with homely, cosy oversized jumper feel.
These type of blankets at first glance look like the wool is a multi-fleck yarn but on closer inspection the Warp (that is the up and down threads are coloured) and the Weft (horizontal) are neutral grey. We've seen these blankets many times and the colour effects vary. Some of the major mills made blankets like this with their end of line redundant yarns. I like their early days zero waste thinking!
Blanket is extra thick, at some point it has been washed incorrectly which has thickened it up. There is a slight twist to it which means it does not fold perfectly square. Does not effect cosy!
It has fresh retro blanket stitching top and bottom in a fun coral colour.
Small Single/Throw size at 140cm x 126cm.
No patch repairs.
No makers label. 100% New Zealand wool and made in New Zealand.
