Key feature: Vintage quirky classic
This is an early wool blanket from one of our favourite Wool Mills. Solid cream with fine navy stripes to the top and bottom edges.
The wool is medium to light weight with fuzzy vintage wool feel. Even thickness throughout. There is some slight waving to the weave due to irregular shrinkage, folds a little wonky (see main photo).
King Single size 180cm x 188cm - this blanket would be perfect on a Single, King Single or Double Bed
Matching navy blanket stitching has been added to the top and bottom edges.
Six small patch repairs have been added in navy for a quirky touch.
Original makers label from Kaiapoi Woollen Mills, a lovely red embroidered example, with light wear. 100% New Zealand wool and New Zealand made.
A Fresh Retro Love, Restore to Relove label has been added to one corner.
This blanket is roughly in the realm of 100 - 110 years old so as expected there are some light marks. Nothing too full on looking. See photo.
